Hello All, I would like some information on how many schools employ media/teacher aides in school media centers. Last year almost all media centers in our district lost this help when 12 teacher aide positions were dropped. Student and parent volunteers are not working as well. I am in the process of gathering information on what type of schools employ media aides (elementary, middle, high etc.); how long they have had them; hours and days of employment and duties. Are their other creative ways that anyone has found to substitute for media aides besides student and parent volunteers. Any help in this area would be appreciated. Jan Williams Janet A.
