Hi Group, One of our Foreign Language teachers would like to purchase a
classroom set of fiction books that are set in Mexico, Spain, or France. He
would like to use this as a vehicle for teaching about the country's
culture, as well as introducing more reading into his curriculum. I've
checked Gillespie's "Best Books for Jr. High Readers" (1991) and Bowker's
"Best Books for Young Adult Readers Grades 7-12 (1997). Does anyone have
any firsthand knowledge of any other books that I could suggest? They must
be suitable for middle school
readers. TIA Judi
