Our school is adopting the SRA direct instruction method for reading next year. This is a done deal, so I don't need any rationale as to why we should or should not do it. =20 I WOULD like to hear from anyone working in a school where this program is being used. Does the media specialist have a special role to play? Does media instruction need to change to be correlated to what is going on in the reading curriculum? =20 Any research studies would also be welcome. =20 TIA =20 Pat Wassink Colfax Elementary School Colfax, WI 54730 wassinpl@uwec.edu =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
