Thanks for your help. I ended up doing some web searches and found
"Footsteps" which looks like it might be a good one - it's for ages
8-14 (upper elem and middle). I found the information at
www.footstepsmagazine.com and at
www.cobblestonepub.com/pages/footmain.htm.

In my search I found out that Black Enterprise for Teens is a newsletter.

I just got a suggestion from one of our African American teachers
about two new magazines: Kidpreneurs News (for ages 8-12)
Black Enterprise for Teens (for ages 13-18). They are both published
by the publishers of Black Enterprise. There is a website
blackenterprise.com which shows sample issues.
