TARGET: $$ to spend!

Friends-
I need suggestions in a hurry.  I've just been given grant money to
spend on software or
online subscriptions for the media center.  I'm thinking I want to
subscribe to World Book
because of their built-in links to periodicals.  Or should I subscribe
to a service like the one
Ebsco offers?  What about Lightspan or Electric Library?  I don't have
anything at this
time, but have brand-new hardware (both platforms) so my options are
wide open!

What software packages or online subscriptions do you use and love in
your libraries?
