I'm a little late in joining in here (got way
behind on my reading messages), but just had to
add my experience.

Once I dropped the "M" drawer of the card catalog
on my big toe.  Did not break the toe, but lost
my nail.  To this day, that toe is not exactly
right.

Sounds like a good rationale for automation, yes?
