Hi, I finally went and actually got hired as an SLMS with 22 days to go before school starts. My school has regularly scheduled library classes for all grades K-8. I have some great ideas for the first couple of weeks with the littler ones but I'm having trouble thinking of introductory lesson plans for the older kids. Is there anyone out there with experience in this? My past experience didn't include grades 5-8 coming in regularly. Thanks in anticipation of your help.
