Need book review

Barbara Robinson will be visiting my school this year and I am very excited.
My hope is to familiarize all the students with her books. I am concerned
about reading aloud My Brother Louis Measures Worms because there is a
mention of sex and an out of wedlock pregnancy. If you know this book,
please give me your opinion of which grades you think it is best suited for.
I would also like reviews from respectable journals if you have any. It is
copyrighted 1988 which is before I started getting School Library Journal.
Or if you know where I can go to get a book review that would be good
information to have.
