Hi all,

I will be starting my first school media position in
September at a middle/high school in New York. I have
worked as a public librarian for several years. Since
I will have a wide age range, grades 6-12, I am not
sure where to begin. Does anyone separate the books in
these situations? Which grades should I focus on
first? What skills are important to each grade level?
Part of my collection is in a closet during
construction. A new library media center is being
built and is scheduled for next year.

Thanks in advance,
Suzanne
