Stick is a Civil War veteran wandering the West for a long lost love
when he runs across Whittle, a teenage boy wondering the West
also.  They pair up together and have many adventures which lead
up the the ending where they have to try to rescue Stick's love from
kidnappers.  This 202 page book introduces the reader to two
lovable and at times humorous characters.  It is a fun read packed
full of adventure, friendship, and some suspense at the end.
