I think posting everyone's AR points on a chart that is posted for all to see might violate the FERPA law (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). Because of a court ruling, we can no longer have TA's or other students grade another's paper and we can't have students call out grades while we record them in the gradebook. This seems to fall into the same category to me.... My two cents, early on a Friday, before a three day weekend (how many prepositions *can* she get in that phrase?) <grin> Julie Julie Anderson, Librarian Liberty High School, Renton, WA 425.837.4901 andersonj@issaquah.wednet.edu Live like you don't need money, Love like you've never been hurt, Dance like no one's watching. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
