I have a flexible library schedule with students coming and going all day long. Acc. Reader is the ruler of our school. (Don't get me started.)When I have a book fair, I have always closed the library for check-out during that week. Since the students are not checking out books, the teachers sometimes have a fit because students don't have anything to read during our daily 35 minute SSR. How do some of you schedule a book fair? Do you have the library open during book fair week? Do you keep the fair for 2 weeks? I've thought of having it during an upcoming open house - never done that. I don't like closing for that week. Any great ideas? TIA Jeannie J.
