Job: NYC

After 10 years at my middle school, I would like to leave to take
another position. My principal would like to replace me with a licensed
librarian. The library is heavlily used by both students and staff,
operates on a flexible schedule and the principal is supportive of the
librarian-teacher collaborative model. The library is automated with
Athena, has 15 computers, 10 of them connected to the building T-1
line.. The collection has about 10,000 volumes. There is a full-time
aide paid for by a collaborative agency, which also funds an afterschool
program during which the library is open.

The school is located in northern Manhattan, near both the "A "and "1"
lines.
