Re: title help

Knowing how wonderful the group is in coming up with titles for obscure
information, would you please help identify this book.

Premise:  Young girl raised by mother? or relatives? and works for a rich
lady (I believe that she sews her clothes?).  She becomes friendly with the
lady because she is left alone and has few friends.  The lady gives her the
cast-offs.  As time goes by, the rich lady becomes overweight by eating
chocolates, but the girl still sees only the beautiful lady that she once
was. Which causes much problems with her relatives teasing her.  Historical
fiction.  Set in the late 1890s or 1900s.

The other part of the story is that the young girl falls in love? with
either Butch Cassidy or Sundance Kid.  Whicher one promises to take her away
from her sad life.  He leaves her a note which her relative hides.  She
believes that he never really meant to take her.  And he wonders why she
didn't come with him.

This book was read either late 60s or 70s.  It is a young adult book with a
romantic flare.
