ELEM: Left Behind (the kids) books

Fellow LM Netters:
      I am asking for help.  We are a K-6 public
school.  there is a strong Christian element in the
population as well as Muslim and Seik.    A parent has
brought in a book from the Left Behind (the kids)
Series.  It is an adventure fantasy series with a
Christian focus.  The series are based on scripture.
I think this has come about because of Harry Potter in
our school and a concern that both sides are
represented.
      Would any of you put this into your public
school libraries?  Do you have any reviews to back
this up?  Our policy in our district is to put in
books with good reviews.  If we are challenged then we
have support to back it up.
