Subject:  TARGET: middle and HS: Walter Dean Myers books

Resubmitting an inadequately labelled Target, with apologies from a novice.

A patron would like to donate 10 or more Walter Dean Myers titles to a local
Boys & Girls Club which serves mainly elementary and middle school age kids.
She is interested in titles which will appeal to young African American males
who are at risk for getting into serious trouble.  What has been your
experience with popularity of certain titles over others for this age and
population?   I'll appreciate your suggestions and will post a HIT with
results.  Thanks.
