Hi LM_Netters: The Olympic Torch is off and running. I thought this would be a good time to remind everyone of the website I have created to help answer questions about the 2002 Winter Olympics and Utah. http://www.sjms.jordan.k12.ut.us/MediaCenter/2002.htm I must admit that last night as I saw the torch starting on its way, I got a little excited. My family has tickets to five different events, plus I think we will also be going to the Paralympics. I think Sledge Hockey looks particularly interesting. I am a little apprehensive, because I live in downtown SLC and I know that parking is going to be a problem (that's how close I am). And I don't have off-street parking. But, I am not going to let that stop me. I want to take my children down to the Medals Plaza and enjoy the nightlife! If any of you are coming to Utah for the games, I would be happy to hear from you. I know that the SLOC can only give out the names of restaurants and attractions that have paid into the system, but I would be happy to let you know of some of my favorites.
