SHARE: Hot Fudge Sauce

<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>Okay, by popular acclaim, here's the Hot Fudge 
Sauce Recipe.  It
is from the first <underline>New York Times Cookbook</underline>, by Craig 
Claiborne,  in
my estimation one of the <italic>most</italic> wonderful cookbooks ever!


1/2 c. cocoa

1 c. sugar

1 c. light corn syrup

1/2 c. light cream or evaporated milk

1/4 tsp salt

3 T. butter

1 tsp vanilla


Combine all ingredients, except vanilla, in a large-ish saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture
comes to a full rolling boil.  Boil briskly for three minutes, stirring
occasionally.  Remove from heat and add vanilla.  Serve warm.
This may be reheated in a pan of hot water or microwaved for a few
seconds.

You know what to serve it with!
