GEN: Poem Search

I need your help again to locate a poem for a ninety-one year old =
gentleman.  His memory may not be completely accurate but he believes =
the poem included the following verse.  Does it sound familiar to =
anyone?

It was midnight on the ocean
the clock was striking four
as the boy stood on the burning deck=20
in the garden by the door
