I'm trying to help my secretary with her home computer. She bought
it from a friend who had purchased Cyber Patrol the first year they
had it and then never again. However now that my secretary has it a
Cyber Patrol window keeps popping up when she boots the machine. She
has to wait 12 seconds or so while it loads something or other and
then clicks it off. It's pretty annoying. When she attempts to
remove it, the program asks for a password -- which she does not have
NOR do the original owner know what the password was. Without the
password the computer tells her it is an illegal operation and won't
let her delete the program.

She has Windows 98.

Queston: Is there a master password that might override this
annoyance? Or what can she do?

Thanks for any assistance.
