GEN: Library staff to build house

Library employees in the Greater Rochester, NY area are working together
to fund and construct a home as part of the local Habitat for Humanity
program.  It is the first such project sponsored by library employees
anywhere!  They plan to make the home reader-friendly, with bookshelves,
books, a computer and library cards.  By spring, they need to raise at
least $56,000 to pay for the construction costs.  If you are interested

You can also make donations (they're tax-deductible).  A contribution of
$50.00 will sponsor one square foot.
