Hi folks I am searching for some academic studies that I am sure have been done that prove or disprove that student learning outcomes are enhanced through the introduction and use of a computer network in a school. I have much of Jamie McKenzie's stuff but I would like to look a little further afield. I would also like any academic or anecdotal evidence about the impact of organisations such as education departments putting their staff communications exclusively in online format. I am writing a paper for university (uni) investigating this issue, particularly the support structures that are provided (or not) for those who are not as computer literate as others. I want to link the two to show that the hardware is not enough in either situation, and that there is improved efficiency thru the implementation rather than the old 'saving paper' argument. I appreciate anything you might like to offer...
