Of the dozen great Lmers who responded to my request about Anne Rice books, thank 
you.

Most high school libraries do hold some of Rice's books, but with reservations 
concerning immature readers.  The consensus was that the students who liked to read 
her were capable enough to handle her.  Two respondants said "NO!".
One said, " No, no no"; that  they are sexy, lurid, viloent. And--that she had  
read them all.
