I've been using SIRS for years, and online for several. Because Boolean is a *keyword* search, it takes a lot of practice to come up with good searches using unique terms. And there will always be some results that are irrelevant due to the nature of the English language. But I have been much more succesful with SIRS than with, say, Gale Student Resource Center simply because of the size and scope of the database. Do you have any luck with subject searches? Are you looking for a particular nugget of information or an article about . . .? The latter is likely to be successful, but because the database is limited, the former may not be. Any book you have not read is a new book ;-) Maureen S.
