Winnebago "Wand"

My  school is in the process of installing Winnebago as our "on-line" =
catalog.  Unfortunately, the bar code reader or "Wand", as Sagebrush =
Corp. refers to it, has disappeared.  A new one, a listed in the =
catalog, goes for $795.=20

Is anyone aware of a cheaper, substitute barcode reader which would be =
compatible with Winnebago?  And if so,
how and from whom would I go about ordering one?
