Gen: New York Media Specialists

Hello,
        I just read in the paper this morning that the Buffalo school
district is laying off over 400 employees.  This is due to cuts in state
aid.  I'm curious to know how this is effecting the media program in the
district in general.  I don't know if there is much that any of us can do to
help the situation, but it would be good for us to monitor what is
happening.
