3M Salute to Schools 2002
          3M is partnering with AASL to provide $1.5 million in detection =
systems in 2002 though the "3M Salute to Schools" program. Applications =
must be postmarked by March 1, 2002. Follow the link on the AASL home page =
http://www.ala.org/aasl for eligibility guidelines and to download an =
application.

AASL 2002 Candidates Forum
          The AASL Nominating Committee is hosting a Candidates Forum on =
Saturday, January 19, 4:30-5:30 p.m. during the ALA 2002 Midwinter Meeting =
in New Orleans. The Candidates Forum will be in the Crescent Ballroom of =
the Doubletree Hotel. A schedule of all AASL meetings at ALA Midwinter is =
available on the AASL web site http://www.ala.org/aasl.
