remote/tv help

I have the strangest problem.  I have a RCA ColorTrack Plus TV with a =
RCA universal remote.  When I went to use the tv last week the remote =
wouldn't work.  We have a computer hooked to the tv through an Averkey =
and we need the TV on channel 00.  Of course without the remote I can't =
get hte tv to that channel.  I bought a new RCA universal remote and =
tried programming it with that tv multiple times this morning to no =
avail.  This is my first year here and I haven't been able to locate the =
manuals for the tv or for the original remote.  If you have manuals for =
these or have any ideas as to what the problem might be please help !
