Do you know this book

I had a teacher come to me today asking about a book. I told her I didn't
know but I knew people who would know. Now hopefully someone out there will
recognize this. She said it's a series of books about a little girl and her
teddy bear.The two have all kinds of adventures and conversations  together
and when the little girl gets in trouble she blames the bear( she remembers
a particular incident where the little girl gets into her mothers makeup and
blames the bear). The teacher said they were books her 26 yr. daughter loved
as a child and she wants to get them to suprise her daughter.
