SEC: ninth grade novel

Hi, all,

This is Corrine looking for a novel for ninth grade curriculum that is  good
literature and not too mature for our kids. We loved and have used TO KILL A
MOCKINGBIRD for years, but want to try something more current. We've also
used and discarded GREAT EXPECTATIONS, TALE OF TWO CITIES, and TREASURE
ISLAND.


Any great ideas out there? Have a great holiday.
