I am a new subscriber to LM_NET and look forward to discussing issues with
you.  I am currently in my 12th year of teaching-2nd grade, and am pursuing
an MLIS.  I would like any opinions regarding the use of the Accelerated
Reading Program in elementary school media centers.  I am conducting a
correlational study examining the use of the program and its effects on
student motivation to read (Matthew Effects).  Thank you for any information
that you might share.
