Re: State on-line subscriptions

In regards to the Ohio online electronic resources, the funding for them
has been cut from the state budget.  Apparently, they didn't think it
was important to enable students in the state to have equal access to
these resources, whether they are in a wealthy or poor district.  The
funny thing is that the public libraries resources are still being
funded; and, we can't use them during the school day.  So,
unfortuantely, for all our students who have no computers at home, or
can't get to the public library to use their few computers, these
wonderful resources will be denied them.  I guess our elementary,
middle, and high school students will be forced to surf the internet
where they get to see banner ads like "Post your nude picture...."  What
a shame!
