Barnes and Noble book orders

We would like to know if anyone else has run across this problem with Barnes
and Noble. Today our library secretary tried to place a book order with a
local Barnes and Noble for some books we needed immediately after school.
When she inquired about the educator's discount, she was told that the
discount is only given to teachers, but not librarians! Needless to say our
LMS got on the phone with the manager and that person affirmed this policy
since they did not consider the library to be a legitimate classroom and
that the discount was only for materials used in a classroom! BTW we did not
continue placing the order.
