This may be a bit off topic but then again it may qualify as a reference question. My wonderful bilingual teacher is returning to Taiwan this summer and she's like to take some typically American gifts (price range $10 ) for friends she hasn't seen in ages. The problem is, in Taiwan, they have so much that's American--they even have COSTCO. Also many of our usual souvenirs are made in Taiwan. We couldn't come up with anything thought maybe we were thinking too East coast, Then I remembered I know about 9,000+ people that live in other parts of the country. Any suggestions?
