LM_NET: Library Media Networking

A teacher-librarian in our district has been asked to include comic books
in her collection.   I am trying to find a review source to help her select
suitable titles (no violence, racism, etc.).  I checked Books In Print, but
didn't have a lot of success.  If you know of such a guide, or have
suggestions re: the appropriateness of various titles, please send me an
e-mail.  TIA.
