I am submitting a grant to stock my K-5 library with a book-on-tape collection. As part of the grant request I am seeking funding for a number of tape cassette recorders. (These would be checked out to students in the METCO program who are bused out to the suburbs from inner city Boston on a daily basis. They spend a long time on the bus.) Does anyone check out cassette players as a part of their books-on-tape collection, can you tell me how it is going, and make any recommendations on what type/brand/make of cassette player I should purchase? I have checked the archives and vendor catalogs but would like some advice from the field. Many thanks, Robin Cicchetti, LMS Willard School Library Concord, MA 01742 978-371-9819 rcicchetti@colonial.net =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
