REF: SEC: military title (American history)

I have an American History teacher who will be
teaching an AP class next Fall on American military
history.  He is looking for a book similar to Ambrose'
BAND OF BROTHERS that would follow a platoon's history
from training to the end of combat, only for the
Vietnam War instead of World War II.

If anyone knows of a title, or can suggest where else
