Dear Friends, This is my annual gathering of LM_netters' favorite books of the year. Some of you answered me in December, but you can add more titles if you wish. I will post a HIT prior to the Newbury/Caldecott awards announcement on Jan.15. Please send your answer TO ME PERSONALLY, Joan Kimball at the above address: Kimballjoan@aol.com. MY TARGET QUESTION: What are the titles of your favorite books for K-8 published in 2000? The authors and illustrators can be from any country. I'm looking for a wider selection than the ALA awards recognize. Joan Kimball Librarian, Book Reviewer, Storyteller Ayer, Mass.
