Re: Benefits of reading article with copy permission

       If you cannot get the kind of article you are
looking for, just phone (or e-mail or fax) to the
magazine etc that you would like to use and ask for
their permission.  Then all you have to do is send out
the newsletter with the following similar note:
"Permission granted from .........Magazine Jan ......"
and of course site the title of the article and the
author.
    I did this once (by phoning) for an article on
reading for my classroom (from a national magazine)
and the magazine happily granted permission.  I just
had to follow up with a letter telling them when I
would be sending it to parents, the name of my school,
and no. of copies.  That was it.
