LM_NET: Library Media Networking

I come to the list with another renovation/decoration question. Last
semester I asked the group their collective opinion of 2 level libraries --
the overall attitude was "avoid at all costs" -- so I didn't feel too bad
when I was told that a second level has been eliminated from the renovation
plans because of budget constraints. Now I am in the position of trying to
find some wall hangings or banners (NOT POSTERS) for my very tall library
walls. These walls stretch from the lower level to the 2nd floor ceiling --
there are 4 separate sections or panels, so I was hoping to find some large
banners to hang. I have located some vinyl banners, but the themes are
mostly "motivation and success" oriented. I was hoping that someone on the
list could recommend a good company that has library themed banners.(I have
been through many library catalogs, but find posters or paper banners - I am
looking for something more lasting.)

I have found many companies that will make banners that the individual
designs -- but I hesitate to go this route because of the expense and the
fact that I am not artistic. I know that the banners or decorations that are
chosen and hung in the library will be there for a very long time (the
raccoon picture on the library wall will be replaced - he has been hanging
there for nearly 20 years - no kidding:-) I want to find something that is
student friendly, current and lasting.

Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

TIA
