Target: popular HS biographies

Good morning -
I'm heading to Barnes & Noble today with some PTA
money, & I'm looking for suggestions to beef up my
biography section.  Any suggestions you have for
sports figures (no personal interest there, I haven't
even heard of most of these guys) or musician
biographies that are reasonably clean are most
welcome.  I've actually read many of these myself, but
find that most have excessive coverage of groupies and
recreational substances.
