The following is Part Four of my collection of Medieval Web Sites for ninth grade world history classes. Ultimately, I want to make them into a Web Page. When I do, I will be happy to share it. Thanks to all who contributed. Labyrinth: Medieval England http://www.georgetown.edu/labyrinth/subjects/british_isles/england/england.html Medieval Society: those who pray, those who fight, those who work http://history.idbsu.edu/westciv/medsoc/ Medieval Arts and Carfts http://users.aol.com/gerekr/interests.html Lives of Medieval Women http://library.thinkquest.org/12834/index.html Rules to Games (check dates - not all are medieval!) http://www.inmet.com/~justin/game-rules.html Medieval Recipes http://www.godecookery.com/gcooktoc/gcooktoc.htm Medieval Party Menu http://www.bahnhof.se/~chimbis/tocb/recipes/kitchen/medmenu.html Medieval World people, places, events, warfare weapons and armor, culture http://history.evansville.net/medieval.html Medieval Scavenger Hunt - links to sites about medieval life http://www.greenwich.k12.ct.us/middle/ems/middleages.htm Index of Middle Ages Materials http://www.byu.edu/ipt/projects/middleages/index.html#index internet links http://www.byu.edu/ipt/projects/middleages/WEBSites.html Castles of Britain http://www.castles-of-britain.com/castle38.htm Castles of Wales http://www.castlewales.com/home.html http://www3.zdnet.com/yil/content/roundups/medieval_history.html If you go to my ancient cultures page, you'll discover that many of these links lead to medieval pages as well.... http://www.ackley.k12.ia.us/library/agwsrancienthistory.htm Why don't you include the link to the page -- it's below http://www.mpark.net/mphs/School/resource%20pages/Social%20Studies/Middle_Ages.htm Dominion and Domination of the Gentle Sex: the Lives of Medieval Women is a student-created Web site that portrays many aspects of women's lives and includes short biographies of women in art, politics, religion, and other fields. http://library.thinkquest.org/12834/ If you want to take the time you can come to my library's site: www.d-e.org and look at my history links. Once you are here go to middle/upper internal page; choose research links, and look under history for medieval links. I hope these help. We use them with our 9th graders. Thanks again to all who contributed.
