SHARE: summer read and library humor

Hello all:

I'm into a summer read for my book group: _My Dream of You_ by Nuala
O'Faolain and on page115 there's the following....

"There is one piece of help I could offer you. There's a very nice boy
from the town who's studying librarianship in Dublin, but he's home at
the moment. Declan. His mother had hoped he might go for the priesthood
apparently but it seems that that is not to be and that she considers a
librarian to be the next best thing to a priest."

I chuckled out loud:-)
