Dear friends,
Firstly, if you don't wish to receive these updates, please let me know.
1. I have continued to add links to subjects and search engines in =
particular. Just search in my 'search my site' box for new subject =
links.
2. I finally found somewhere to do a banner. There were mostly only =
American birds to choose from, so what did I choose: the eagle : the =
symbol of American imperialism, for those outside America. But I still =
like the bird theme: must be something Freudian about that! You can find =
this banner site by going to=20
http://www.wtv-zone.com/BannerzRus/
3. I have decided to delete my guestbook despite really appreciating the =
comments there and I have a link to Feedback instead. There may be some =
people who don't want their comments advertised.
4. I have simplified my front page, on advice, and have fewer ads.
5. I have been added to quite a few search engines, Matilda being the =
only Australian one which will accept me. The others require you to have =
.au on your URL. It was free for me (non-profit organisation), but it =
isn't for companies. I guess you know that it is now costing people =
money to submit to search engines AND that listbots are going to charge =
now too. Thanks Bill Gates again. I have been linked from a lot of =
other sites too. I can tell this by checking my site meter and seeing =
who is being referred to my site.
6. I have learnt a few more tricks in Dreamweaver, but have not learnt =
any flash stuff yet. Perhaps I don't want to.
7. Unfortunately, it is school holidays in America for some 2-3 months =
and it is school holidays in Australia for 2 weeks, so although I'm =
getting quite a few hits each day, I don't expect it to pick up again =
until school goes back
8. I have been offered a job to tutor some American library studies =
students.
9. Last but not least, I see you didn't like my last Research question. =
I have just compiled a new one, which will be a lot easier. Lets see how =
many of you Americans know the answer to this one :)
Regards,
Jenny Campbell
