GEN: From the classroom into the library

I just had this knowledge wash over me in=20
great wave the other night in a MLS class.  I have a BS Degree in Ed. =
with Specializations in Library Media and Social Studies.  I had to get =
a teaching degree to get a media degree.  My BS in media and my 14 years =
of experience only count as years of experience; Yet, if I had a BS in =
math, I could be a math teacher until retirement just renewing my =
certificate...I love what I do, but I'm still waiting for a class to be =
interesting, challenging, exciting.  I'm not saying that I haven't =
learned anything, of course I have, but it would be nice to be able CLEP =
some of these..Can you do that anymore even in undergraduate school?
