Hello; In 1996 Judy Blume won the Margaret A. Edwards Award. At the award ceremony she gave a speech which focused on censorship of books in schools and libraries (particularly her book - Forever). Teachers in my school are doing a unit on censorship and we are looking for a copy of that speech on tape spoken by Ms. Blume. (not a print copy - we can find that). I have contacted a website recommended by ALA called Teach'em Tapes but they are specializing in medical information. I have also checked the Judy Blume websites - official and unofficial. If anyone knows where I can acquire this item, please reply to me at : lfox18@hotmail.com Thanks, Linda Fox Library Coordinator South Colonie Schools 1 Raider Blvd. Albany, NY 12205 (518) 459-1220 lfox18@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
