RE: GEN ELEM Reading Counts

I am interested in how the Reading Counts program impacts your library - =
time, space and budget.  Does the teacher-librarian monitor this =
program, or the reading specialist or a classroom teacher? =20

What are the benefits to the reading program?  Does this program reward =
the student for reading a specific number of books?  Do you think an =
extrinsic reward is necessary to keep the program interesting for the =
young readers?
