>Anyone out there real knowledgeable about saving PowerPoint presentations? Currently I just use a computer to tv connector to make a videotape of them that I can then edit with my videotape editor. Can one burn one on a CD? Can one burn one on a CD so that someone without PowerPoint can still view it? What about DVD burning? This is all way beyond me, but a staff member wondered about these new technologies. Sure...I burn them to CD all the time. Make sure any associated video clips and music clips are included on the CD. You can include the PowerPoint free viewer from Microsoft: http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/Default.aspx DVD burners are still too steep although the blanks have come way down in price. Pioneer has the Pioneer DVR-S201 which sells for $5,400. The Pioneer DVR-A03 is also a DVD recorder and it was the world's first DVD recorder. Check http://www.pioneerelectronics.com for info on DVD models (do a search for DVD recorders) and also http://www.rwppi.com which is the organization trying to get DVD recorders into the marketplace.
