This is a multipart message in MIME format. --=_alternative 004C8BA386256A5E_= Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Would it be possible for the teacher to leave the book with you with the chapter's marked and then allow you to place it in the library on "reserve"? The teacher could then ask that the students go to the library to check out the book (perhaps on an hour loan) to photocopy the chapters needed themselves? Because they are the ones who are purchasing the book, they would only be receiving a copy of what they need to read before the text arrives. It puts more responsibility on the student to get the copies made, but the student is still responsible for reading the material even if the teacher gives it to them.
