An Exclusive Offer for AASL Personal Members and their Teaching Partners

Welcome your teaching partner into our learning community at the AASL 10th =
National Conference, Nov. 14-18, 2001 in Indianapolis, Ind. New in 2001, =
AASL personal members can jointly register with either a non-member =
classroom teacher or administrator and save! By jointly registering, your =
non-member classroom teacher or administrator pays the same conference, =
workshop and school tour registration fees as an AASL personal member - a =
significant savings compared to the regular non-member rates!

Build and strengthen your partnerships for learning with help offered by =
the many programs developed to support your implementation of the =
collaborative principles found in Information Power. Using the AASL =
National Conference Program Finder you can easily identify those programs =
that focus on the topics of "collaboration" and "collaborative planning," =
as well as those programs developed for an audience that includes =
classroom teachers and administrators. Click the "Program Finder" link on =
the conference Web site at <www.ala.org/aasl/indy>, and then follow the =
prompts to search for programs either by specific topics or target =
audience.

The classroom teacher joint registration option is now included on the =
conference registration form available to download as a PDF document from =
the conference Web site at <www.ala.org/aasl/indy>, as well as during the =
online registration procedure.

If you're an AASL personal member and have already registered for the =
conference, but would now like to add a non-member classroom teacher or =
administrator to your registration, then follow these steps:

1. Download the conference registration form as a PDF document from =
the conference Web site at <www.ala.org/aasl/indy>.

2. In section II, Badge Information, write your name and indicate =
that you've already registered for the conference. Be sure to include =
your personal membership number!

3. Complete section IV, Administrator/Teacher Information for your =
administrator or teacher.

4. Indicate any additional meal function, preconference workshop or =
tour registrations needed for your administrator or teacher in sections =
V-VIII.

5. Total all fees, provide payment information, and then fax to =
312-280-1538.

Questions about joint registering with your non-member classroom teacher =
or administrator? Call the ALA Customer Service Registration Center at =
866-261-6373 (U.S./Canada; toll free) or 312-280-4299 (all other countries;=
 tolls apply).
